Artist Statement

I sat by this pool every day for a month, looking across the wobbled lines of clear tiled water toward an abstract collection of elongated forms. 

The condo poolside was old, shaped by the heyday inspiration of 80s Florida tropical resorts. 

Blue sky reflected in the water. Palms, umbrellas, fragments of architecture shifting and softening at the surface. I traced the shapes in my mind as my thoughts wandered. This work holds that way of seeing, where observation drifts into abstraction. 

About The Collection

More Than You Knew is a layered digital collage series blending botanical form, textile pattern, and soft geometry in a palette of peach, seafoam, sunlit gold, and washed coastal blues. Inspired by tropical island landscapes where palms, shells, and floral fragments gather into compositions that feel vivid, abundant, and slightly dreamlike.

Drawn by hand using digital tools, combining organic variation with crisp matte colour and defined edges, a signature of the studios visual language.
