Artist Statement

This design explores themes of childhood friendship and sisterhood. It is a hark back to a simpler time and the extended outdoor freedom afforded to youth in the 80s. 

A fun colourful piece inspired by bright 80s retro colour. The artwork depicts two young girls hanging out under sunny blue skies, sitting on rocks by the sea. It features vibrant purple, orange and coastal light blues.
