Artist Statement

This artwork is about summer beach days. The smell of sunscreen, sandy feet, wide brim hats and a tote bag stuffed with towels, a water bottle, a book to read and snacks to keep the kids happy. Sitting on the beach my heart sings and all of creation appears to relish in this glorious moment.
