Artist Statement

At the time of creating this piece I was playing around with digitally restoring snippets of art deco wallpaper. You can see the inspiration in the rose stencil and the little repeated pattern that dots the dusky pink sky. This is a retro mid century 50s aesthetic design that pops with simplicity and colour.
